Our client has been specialised in the design and construction of cast resin transformers for more than 35 years. As a part of a group of companies, and with 2 business locations of its own, our client is active around the globe. With its technologically advanced products and the service it provides, our client offers comprehensive packages that meet the needs of every customer. For the business location Arezzo in Italy we are looking for a Production Director.
In this wide-ranging role, you have full responsibility for all production processes. You will report directly to the Managing Director. In addition, you are responsible for the following activities:
- Development and implementation of a clear and efficient production and investment strategy in coordination with the Managing Director and the Group
- Management of the entire production process
- Ensuring goal-oriented production capacity utilisation and product quality
- Compliance with agreed delivery deadlines
- Productivity improvement
- Minimisation of costs
- Optimal implementation of quality standards and procedures
- Efficient utilisation of all resources
- Cross-location cooperation
You have a university degree in engineering and a master’s degree in business administration or an equivalent degree. As an all-rounder with sound conceptual skills, you offer the following qualities for the position as Production Director:
- Many years of leadership experience
- Proven work experience as a production manager, preferably in the field of electromechanical products
- High level of expertise in the fields of safety, quality management, productivity and supply chain management
- Sound knowledge of business principles – budgeting, strategic planning, human resources
- Business fluent in Italian and English
